Pathshala guidelines and structure
- Teach the science behind Jainism and logical reasons behind every dharmik activities (like why should one go to temple ?).
- Cover Dharmik Gyaan - will follow 'Bal Bodh' book syllabus. Exams and certificates after completing each 'Bhaag'.
- Cover Lok Shiksha - Using interesting stories teach them things like respect parents and teachers, never lie and more.
- Fun activities - Make it a fun place for kids with interesting stories, games and competitions.
- Light snacks at the end of every class.
- Minimum 2 and Max 5 volunteers in every class.
- 5 members (Preeti, Rahul1, Parul, Varsha Bhabhi, Prerna) have volunteered for teaching. Please volunteer for teaching the kids.
- Total timing (1.5 hrs) break-up:
- 1 hour – Dharmik Gyaan and Lok Shiksha (cover a small topic supported with interesting stories.
- Last 30 mins – Games, Quizes and snacks to kids
- Ice Breaker sessions in the classes – Introduction sessions, kids should know each other and the teachers.
- Books will be given JYN. Students need to carry copy and pen-pencil.
- A lot of gifts and chocolates - make sure that every kid gets at least one chocolate in every class.
- Conducting – Anant
- Manglacharan – Rahul1 and Pranjali to coordinate on this
- 'Deep Prajwalan' - Rahul 1 will arrange, to be done by Maharaj Ji
- Addressing - Pradhanji will address and tell about JYN and pathshala.
- Nariyal and Shastra gift to Maharajji – Rini
- Books distribution to kids by Maharaj Shree.
- 1 minute competition - a 15 min game for kids at the end -- Anant, Ankit
- Call JYN volunteers for the event -- Jambu, Abhishek
Tasks and responsible person
- SMS to whole Jain Samaj - coordinate with Kapil Ji and send a draft of sms about pathshala -- Anant
- Calling to samaj people - spread info about Pathshala and ask them to send kids in – Anant, Rahul1, Abhishek, Sanyam
- Door to door – cover near by sectors and visit everyone houses to give info about Pathshala - Rahul1, Rini, Pratha
- Minimum age limit – 3rd standard and onwards.
- Board, chalks -- Rahul2
- Books – Rahul 1 and Preeti, get atleast 30 copies of 'Bhaag-1', will be distributed to kids by Maharaaji in the first class
- Attendance Register and excel sheet – Centralized database of students, details of each class and attendance. - Fun activities, games and competition – Anant , Rahul1, Ankit will decide.
- Snacks and chocolates - Arpit will arrange for this. Guys please extend help to him.
- Gifts – Abhishek will arrange for this.
- Fund Raising – Anant has talked to Pradhaan Ji and Mandir is funding the snacks and gifts. Fund raising team will work more on this.
- Batch for kids - With JYN logo. Try to get this by the opening day -- Abhishek
